WHY WE MAKE CLEMENTINE JAM
Coming from the cross between a mandarin and an orange, this orange fruit makes you salivate. It is the most popular citrus fruit and we are keen to reach young and old by taking this fruit on a journey through jam.
CULTURE OF THE CLEMENTINE TREE
Our clementine trees are mostly large individuals, 3-4m high, which particularly like the Mediterranean sun and breathe the air of the nearby Gorges du Loup.
Cultivated according to a 100% natural tradition, our clementine trees receive only ORGANIC treatments and we fight in the most respectful way possible against the ever-increasing number of pests. Their maintenance has been entirely carried out by hand since the beginning, from cultivation to pruning, until the fruit is picked when ripe.
MAKING CLEMENTINE JAM
Our jam has been made with a selection of the most fragrant clementines of the season in synergy with the way we cultivate it with respect and simplicity.
TERROIR-06 preserves its true nature and aromas through moderate heating and brings out the notes of its mandarin mother thanks to our lemons.
USING CLEMENTINE JAM.
Of course it’s very good on toast.
It is also appreciated in a rolled cake or a pie.
More original: blend the jam, then add it to a mascarpone whipped cream and make an original charlotte with biscuits. In an all-chocolate cake, it’s…divine.
