Description
Why make lemon-flavored thyme honey?
Our citrus-infused honeys reflect our commitment to creating a delicious and very healthy product. Thyme honey is renowned for its antiseptic properties. This is combined with all the components of the citrus fruit, including its vitamins, which remain intact because the product has never been heated.
Lemon tree cultivation on the Côte d’Azur
The lemon we grow is quite special because it produces two harvests of lemons. It is therefore more work because it is necessary to regularly select and prune to keep the most productive branches and twigs.
As a general rule, it is very important to provide essential nutrients in 3 times depending on the size of the tree but also its soil. Do not neglect the supply of minerals, in particular zinc and boron, which before fruit set will support the setting of fruits and their maintenance until maturity.
Making lemon-flavored thyme honey
We produced this honey with the initial goal of obtaining the purest product possible. Therefore, neither our oranges nor our honey were exposed to temperatures exceeding 35°C, which preserves all the enzymes and vitamins intact while resulting in a very flavorful blend.
