🌿 TERROIR-06: a local producer from the Grasse region

TERROIR-06 is a family business located in Bar-sur-Loup, in the Alpes-Maritimes region, specializing in the production and processing of organic citrus fruits and aromatic plants. The farm perpetuates the agricultural traditions of the Grasse region by producing jams, jellies, flavored honeys, hydrosols, and other artisanal products made from organically grown ingredients.

Our philosophy is based on three essential values:

Among our most popular creations is our organic bitter orange marmalade, a true concentrate of Mediterranean flavors.

🍊 TERROIR-06 bigarade orange jam

TERROIR-06 bitter orange (bigarade) jam is made from oranges grown locally on our land in the Grasse region.

This fruit, known for its thick skin and slightly bitter taste, is ideal for creating a jam rich in aromas and very fragrant.

This artisanal jam highlights the natural characteristics of the fruit:

👩‍🍳 Handcrafted in 3 days

TERROIR-06 bitter orange marmalade is made using a traditional method that takes place over three days in order to preserve all the aromatic richness of the fruit.

Manufacturing steps

Day 1️⃣: Fruit preparation

The orange peels are blanched to reduce the natural bitterness.

Day 2️⃣: Maceration

The fruit are macerated in sugar with a first gentle cooking.

Day 3️⃣: Final cooking

A long cooking time allows the peels to become candied and the flavors to concentrate.

This artisanal method guarantees a texture rich in pieces and an intense taste.
