Since 1934, during the second half of February, Menton has hosted an internationally renowned event: the Fête du Citron®. Also called the Menton Carnival, the event brings together 200,000 people every year around a theme that changes annually.
This year the festival will take place from February 15 to March 2.
The Menton corsos, which take place on Sundays, or parades of citrus floats, thus compete each year with the most beautiful carnivals in the world with floats, music, and atmosphere. There are also immense structures made with lemons and oranges in the Bioves garden. Finally, at the Palais de l’Europe, you will discover a craft market and an orchid exhibition.
