FOUGASSETTES VENTURINI, a gourmet address known by 100% of Grasse residents

The Venturini family shop is located at 1 rue Marcel Journet in Grasse, just 9km from our gites www.locations-06 and our agricultural business www.terroir-06.fr.

Since 1923, LA BOUTIQUE VENTURINI has been the temple of fougassette, a specialty delicately flavored with orange blossom which is part of the region’s heritage.

Now managed by two very friendly brothers, the spirit of this gourmet address has not changed since its creation. We love going there to buy our fougassettes and the excellent pissaladière, another specialty of our region.

It is Myriam who welcomes us with her smile and her good humor and who decorates so nicely this little shop which looks like the Ali Baba cave of gourmands. We like to buy the rose or orange blossom preserves from GUILHEM CODERA of TERROIR-06, the biscuits, the sour candies, the échaudés, the lemon and orange shaped candies. Yum, the sin of gluttony is tempting!

You will also find échaudés, a lemon-scented pastry dating back to the Middle Ages, nougats and sugared almonds. Let’s not forget the pumpkin tart, chocolates, syrups, orange blossom water, etc.
